Recovering from drug and alcohol abuse disorder is more than just stopping the use of drugs or alcohol. It’s developing the needed skills and knowledge needed to STAY sober. Unfortunately, most of the people who detox from the substance they are dependent on relapse in the first days of their recovery. But, it’s proven that with support and comprehensive treatment, the risk for relapse is drastically reduced. Here at Mountainview Recovery, we offer a Partial Hospitalization treatment program that aims to provide individuals with the educational tools and therapy sessions needed to establish long-term healing from addiction.
Our partial hospitalization program is offered on an outpatient basis. This means that people enrolled in treatment don’t have to necessarily live on campus to get the help they need. However, for the best chance of completion of the program and for long-term sobriety success, it’s suggested that those enrolled take advantage of our housing options during their time spent in treatment. Those who enroll in a partial hospitalization program after detox or their stay at a residential facility can expect to participate in daily treatment activities at least 5 times each week.
A PHP may be the best solution for those trying to assimilate back into society after a more intensive program. Or, for someone who needs treatment after detox while still attending work or school obligations.
Services offered at during our PHP do not differ from many other types of treatments like facilities who offer residential treatment. In fact, our partial hospitalizations program offers therapies and extracurricular activities like individual counseling, family sessions, group support, and much more. So, while a residential program may differ slightly, individuals in a PHP don’t have to give up the benefits of intensive treatment.
Along with not having to compromise services, patients enrolled in a PHP can expect:
